Scholarship Award Criteria:
- Candidates must be enrolled as a high school senior and must maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average.
- Eligible students will declare a major in Nursing/Healthcare/Criminal Justice/Journalism-Communication.
- Candidates must submit a completed application.
- Candidates must submit a 1000 word essay on “Why I want to pursue a career in one of the following areas of study: Nursing/Healthcare/Criminal Justice/Journalism-Communication”. The essay must be doubled spaced and in 12-pt type. .
- Application and essay may be mailed to BECA, Inc., P.O. Box 42039, Charlotte, NC 28215, or faxed to 704-943-4454.
- Deadline for entries is now March 31st.
- Scholarship winners being announced by May 31st.
- Scholarships are in the amount of $500.
